A page won’t load
What to try when a page stays blank or a sermon does not open, what the connection and can’t-be-opened messages mean, and when to write to us.
On this page
When a page stays blank, a sermon does not open or an answer never arrives, begin with the connection and work down this list. The two messages explained below tell you most of what you need.
Check the connection
When your device loses its connection, a short message appears at the bottom of the screen: No internet connection. When it is back you see Connection restored, and what was waiting loads again by itself, for example You’re offline. This sermon will open as soon as you’re back online. The messages stay for a few seconds, so you may have missed them.
Then try, in this order
Web
- Open another page, such as Home or Browse. If it opens, the problem is with the one page, not with your connection.
- Reload the page.
- Update your browser or try another one. See Supported devices and browsers.
- Switch networks, for example from Wi-Fi to mobile data.
- Open the status page. It shows whether our service is answering, with any note we have posted. It is in French and English.
App
- Open another tab, such as Home or Browse. If it opens, the problem is with the one page, not with your connection.
- Close the app completely and open it again.
- If an update is waiting, update the app.
- Switch networks, for example from Wi-Fi to mobile data.
- Open the status page. It shows whether our service is answering, with any note we have posted. It is in French and English.
When a sermon can’t be opened
Two messages are about something other than your connection. This sermon can’t be opened right now. Try again later. means it cannot be opened for the moment. Try again a little later: an account with a confirmed address has more room, as Daily limits explains. Signed out, you may see Sign in to keep reading. instead.
This sermon can’t be opened just now. Try again in a moment. appears when many pages are opened one after another very quickly. Wait a moment and try again. Nothing is wrong with your device or your account.
When to write to us
Write to us if the status page shows nothing wrong, other pages open, and the page still fails after you reload, update and try another network. Give the address of the page or the sermon code, what you saw, and your device. Contact support lists what helps.

It says No internet connection, but my Wi-Fi works.
The message follows your device’s own report and goes away by itself once the connection answers: the site and the app check again every few seconds. If it stays, switch Wi-Fi off and on, or use mobile data.
Is your service down?
Open the status page. If it shows nothing wrong and your problem remains, write to us.
I see a Page not found message.
It says This page does not exist or has moved. Go to Home and look for the page from there.
