Release notes

New

• On a sermon with Read along, Share on a selected passage offers Text and recording: the words and the link go with the part of the recording where they are said.

New

• On a sermon with Read along, Share on a selected passage offers Text and recording: the words and the link go with the part of the recording where they are said. Where the browser cannot share files, the recording is downloaded and the words and link are copied.

New

• Download a language once and read its sermons, every version, anywhere and without a connection. In Settings, Sermons on this device; a download carries on where it stopped if you leave the app.

Improved

• Settings, Sermons on this device, lists every language with its size, to download, stop, continue or remove each one.

New

• A sermon’s menu has Scriptures read: the passages he read out, in order. Choose one to go to where he reads it.
• When you fall behind on a plan, its page offers to catch you up or to read less each day from today. Nothing you have read is lost.

Improved

• A note’s or a conversation’s title has a pen after it: tap either to rename it, with the cursor already at the end.

Fixed

• On Android, going back from a plan’s settings no longer leaves a blank screen, and a field’s words no longer jump to its edge when you tap it.

New

• Branham Sermons is now on Google Play for Android phones and tablets, with the same sermons, search and account as on iPhone and the web.

New

• Pull the text left or right to move between the day’s readings. Checking one opens the next, and the day’s last check draws itself round.
• Tap a conversation’s title to give it a name of your own.

Improved

• The ring round a plan’s check fills as you read down the text or listen, whichever has gone further, and play carries on from where you are reading.
• Browse finds a sermon by its code with or without the dash, by its date written any way, or by words of its title in any order.

Fixed

• In a long sermon, reading it in another language now opens it on the sentence you were reading, not short of it.

New

• The conversation answers questions about the sermons as records: the shortest or the longest, the first or the last of a year, how many he preached in a place, what he preached on a day, or a sermon of about forty minutes, on a subject or not. The sermons come as a list, each with its date, place and length, and a tap opens it; asking for others brings the next ones.

New

• Full screen, at the top of a sermon, leaves only the text, the recording reading on with it. Moving the mouse or a tap brings up its own text size, up to 350% for a room reading off a projector, and a button to leave; a double-tap or Esc leaves too.

Improved

New

• Follow a reading plan on the web, with the same progress as in the app.
• “Catch me up” moves a plan’s days forward when you have fallen behind.
• “Continue reading” keeps your place in each sermon, apart from where you are listening.
• You can delete your account from the website.

Improved

• Copied and shared passages are set out as VGR sets them: each paragraph with its number, then the sermon and the preacher.

New

• The site speaks Spanish and Portuguese, and their texts can be browsed, searched and read side by side with the English.
• Keep up to three sermon languages. Browse, the reader and the player list only those.

New

• Play a sermon’s recording from a bar along the bottom of the page while you read.
• Every sermon as a PDF to keep or print.
• Search every sermon from the reading bar, with the words that matched marked in the text.

New

• Read two texts side by side, passage facing passage.
• Pick sentences to copy or share them.
• Dark mode, and a sidebar for the pages.
• A How to use page.
