Confirm your email address
Why an address is confirmed, what the message looks like, what to do when it doesn’t arrive, and what works until you have confirmed it.
On this page
An account opened with an email and a password keeps nothing until its address is confirmed, and a confirmed account has more room each day. You confirm the address once, by opening a link we send to it. This page covers the message, what to do when it doesn’t arrive, and what works in the meantime.
The message
It comes from Branham Sermons, sent from [email protected], and its subject is Confirm your email address. It is written in the language you were using when you asked for it. Its link opens a page that checks it and says Email address confirmed.
Open the link on whichever device you like. On an iPhone or iPad with the app installed, it can open in the app; otherwise it opens in your browser. Either way, when you return to the site or the app, it notices by itself that the address is confirmed.
If it doesn’t arrive
- Give it a few minutes.
- Look in your spam or junk folder for a message from Branham Sermons.
- Check the address on your account for typing mistakes. See “A wrong address” below.
Then ask for another message:
Web
- Click your photo and name at the foot of the panel on the right (on a narrow screen, open the menu first), then choose Profile.
- Choose Confirm your email at the top of the page.
- Choose Resend confirmation email. The page answers Email sent.
App
- Open the You tab.
- Tap Confirm your email at the top.
- Tap Resend confirmation email. The app answers Email sent.
If a link says This link is invalid or has expired., ask for a new message the same way and use the newest one.
Until it is confirmed
- Browsing, searching and reading stay open, as they do without an account.
- You can ask a few questions a day, as without an account, then you see Confirm your email address to keep asking.
- Highlights, notes, favourites, plans and where you stopped are not saved to your account yet. You see Confirm your email address to start saving.
A wrong address
There is no setting to change the address of an account. If you typed it wrongly, create a new account with the right address, with Create an account on the sign-in page. The first account kept nothing, because its address was never confirmed. If you need help, write to us.
Do I have to confirm my address?
No, but until you do, nothing you keep is saved to your account and you can ask fewer questions each day. Browsing and reading stay open.
I signed in with Google or Apple. Do I need to confirm?
No. Those accounts count as confirmed, and My account shows Verified beside the address.
The link says it is invalid or has expired.
Ask for a new message with Resend confirmation email and use the newest one.
Can I confirm from another device?
Yes, the link works wherever you open it. Then go back to the site or the app where you signed in: it notices the change by itself.
