Delete your account
Where to find Delete account on the website and in the app, how to download your data first, what happens after you confirm, and what is deleted and what is kept.
On this page
You can delete your Branham Sermons account yourself, on the website or in the app. Everything the account keeps goes with it: your conversations, favourites, highlights, notes and reading plans. If you want a copy first, download your data.
Download your data first
Download my data is on My account, above Sign out (in the app it is also on Edit profile). It gives you a spreadsheet of your notes, favourites, reading plans, badges and conversations. The website saves the file; the app opens the share sheet, so you can keep it in Files or send it elsewhere.
Delete your account
Web
- Click your photo and name at the foot of the panel on the right, then Profile.
- Under your name, choose My account.
- Scroll to the foot of the page and choose Delete account.
- Read Delete your account? and choose Delete account to confirm, or Cancel to keep your account as it is.
App
- Open the You tab and tap My account under your name.
- Scroll to the foot and tap Delete account. It is also at the foot of Edit profile.
- Read Delete your account? and tap Delete account to confirm, or Cancel to keep your account as it is.
On iPad and Mac, you reach My account from your photo and name at the foot of the sidebar, then Profile.
If you signed in with Apple or Google
The steps are the same. In the app, if you signed in with Apple, Apple’s own sheet appears once more to confirm and to end Apple’s link between your Apple ID and Branham Sermons. Cancel that sheet and nothing is deleted. Nothing extra happens with Google. Your Apple ID and your Google account are not touched.
What happens next
After you confirm, you are signed out on that device and the account is queued for deletion; a notice tells you so. 7 days later it is deleted, with everything it keeps, from all your devices.
Changed your mind? Sign in again within those 7 days and it stays, with everything in it.

| What | What happens |
|---|---|

What is kept is not tied to your account.
If you cannot sign in
If you can no longer sign in, write to us from the email address of your account and ask for it to be deleted. See Contact support.
Can I get my account back?
Yes, within 7 days of asking: sign in again and it stays. After that it cannot be brought back. You can create a new account, which starts empty.
Will my notes and conversations be lost?
Yes, they are deleted with the account. Use Download my data first to keep a copy.
How do I delete my data without losing my account?
Delete the single item where you see it, such as one conversation, one highlight or one note. Delete account removes everything at once.
Is my Apple ID or Google account deleted too?
No. Only your Branham Sermons account is deleted.
Why does the download say I have already downloaded my data several times?
How often your data can be downloaded in a day is limited. Try again later.
